Hello,
Trying to use this importer but I'm unable to use the add-on.
I have installed blender just to try this tool so I have a fresh blender install.
Installing the extension works fine but no import option is available.
Starting Blender from the command line and trying to enable the add-on I get this error message:

Info: Deleted 1 object(s)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/blender/4.3/scripts/modules/addon_utils.py", line 358, in enable
    raise RuntimeError("Extension {:s} is incompatible ({:s})".format(module_name, error))
RuntimeError: Extension bl_ext.blender_org.pcb3d_importer is incompatible (This Python version (3.12) isn't compatible with (3.11))

Any suggestion how to resolve this?

Platform:

  • linux manjaro
  • blender 4.3.1
  • python 3.12

This is a duplicate of #76. Blender 4.3 comes with Python 3.11. Please complain to your respective package maintainer if this is not the case. (The easiest solution would be to download Blender from https://www.blender.org/download/ or to use something like snap or flatpak.)
