Is direct conversion of PSD layers to buffer possible?

I'm using a Photoshop UXP plugin and need a way to efficiently convert layer data directly to ag-psd compliant data type. Is there any which i can use from the ag-psd for that?

You want to save PSD file using ag-psd? You can set imageData property for the layers instead of canvas it's simple data structure that you can create from buffer.
