Swift Requirement and iOS 12 crashes #430

Since migrating my app to this library and releasing it, users on iOS 12.5 are reporting that the app crashes immediately on open.
I notice that Swift is not available on iOS < 13 which I suspect is causing the crashes.
Is this a known issue? I can't find this in the documentation.
