Carl Schoonover and Brandon Pratt are planning a set of chronic neuropixels recordings that will require some updates to the metadata schema. One concrete requirement is the addition of a Neuropixels chronic implant procedure. These procedures will be done by Carl and NSB initially but will likely become standard in the future.
