This might also apply to other OLED screens, but on catfish, disabling auto brightness and setting brightness to the minimum will result in the screen being so dimly lit that it is no longer visible at all. Thankfully, it is still possible to fumble around to set the brightness higher from the quick settings menu. 10% is about the sane minimum, and I'd say 5% is the functional minimum—past that the screen is not visible in almost any conditions, and the pixels seem to completely turn off at 2–1%.
