I just had an interesting conversation with someone who runs the astronomy part of a science museum. I think it might be fun to encourage outreach-themed hacks this year (this could be a focus for the community-themed hack day?).

Anyway, putting this here so we don't forget.

Is there an off-site day planned this year? Because that is one of the ways we encouraged thematic thinking...
