Allow the end-user the ability to optionally include an explanation for their elevation request.

Would be nice to have an option to require an explanation, toggled by company.

This is huge, it would help me make an on the fly decision.

+1 for this feature request. This is critical to being able to make approval decisions.

+1 for this feature request. Many AE requests are too generic, which leads to wasted time having to track down the user and get more information.

+1 to help discern what the user is trying to do/install without disrupting tech/users workflow. Example: user wants to make a change to a setting but AE is prompting for admin on "Settings". Could be any number of setting changes. Would be nice if the user could specify "Changing xxxxx setting".

This item will now focus solely on the "Request Explanation" portion. The "Denial Appeals Process" was moved to its own item that is now "Under Consideration": #46

This item is current "In Progress" and slated to be delivered by the end of Q1 2024. We will post updates as we have them regarding progress and/or delays, along with a mandatory progress update if the end of the quarter has been reached and the item has not yet been completed.

This item is code complete and an agent with the functionality will be pushed out to all Early Access members this week or next and then will be pushed out as an auto-update shortly after (barring any issues found).

The feature is full GA. You should be able to find the Global Setting under "Agent Customizations & Behavior" > "Elevation Request Explanation"
