A common use case of newsletters is to have an automated newsletter based on an RSS feed. This is a feature that Mailchimp offers. Currently, a similar functionality using this plugin could be achieved with the Posts Inserter block, however it's not fully automatable – the user has to create a new newsletter every time (e.g. weekly). Also, Posts Inserter inserts the posts at time of editing (so it's WYSIWYG), not at time of sending.
I seems that what's needed for such automated-newsletter functionality is periodic scheduling of newsletters (e.g. a newsletter that's automatically sent weekly) and a version of Posts Inserter block that inserts the post at the time of sending.
