Support for YAML Frontmatter #1181

This feature does not get traction on Boost Node? I was looking at some of the templates. They are functional, but on many occasions, I would rather to have the file metadata hidden from view. "YAML front matter parser" is a common feature on most of the Markdown editor I have tried, and I would welcome to see it on Boost Node if it is compatible with your project. Thanks. |

Hi Komediruzecki, You are welcome. I am reading the page about the Block Editor feature in closed beta to be released. I hope it will be compatible with YAML front matter as I know it on other MD editors. |

Hello,
I use a local Markdown editor on Windows, and I want to use Boost note (Web app) on Chrome OS, because the collaborating feature looks great!
Most of the notes I take have a front-matter (date, ref., etc.) when I import them to Boost note, it's not recognized. I also would like use a front-matter when I take new notes in Boost note.
I saw mention of a similar requests in the legacy tracker:
Storing Notes as Markdown with YAML Frontmatter #2291
