To those who wants to have subtitles follow these steps.

Edit

  1. sudo vim /usr/local/bin/notflix (you can use any editor as long as your root.)
  2. Go at the very bottom and replace mpv with vlc
  3. escape + 'wq' (to save and exit)

Below is the guide when you pick a show/movie.

Vlsub

  1. Once your in VLC go to Views and tick VLsub (click it) after that click Research
  2. There you can choose what Language you want.
  3. You can then click Search by Hash or Search by Name (both works great. So it doesn't really matter. If you can't find it via Name then try Hash.)
  4. Pick the subtitle that you want and click Download Selection and it will automatically pick that sub and your good to go.

Theres really no difference between mpv and vlc when it comes to speed. I find VLC much more convenient since it has tools and features that mpv simply does not have.
