Name of extension

ParserMigration

MediaWiki.org page (if it exists)

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ParserMigration

Link to the repo

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/g/mediawiki/extensions/ParserMigration

Justification

The ParserMigration allows wikis to opt-in to using the next-generation Parsoid parser for generating article HTML.

This is useful either as a site-wide default, or just for individual user access for testing and early discovery of incompatibilities that might become more apparently in the next LTS.

How often is this extension/skin updated?

Weekly: it is part of the Wikimedia train release and gets regular localization updates, etc. That said, the extension is fairly small and new user-visible features are probably only added on a monthly basis.

How many people contribute to this extension regularly?

The Wikimedia Content Transform Team maintains this extension, with at least 4 or so folks contributing code or reviews.

Are you the author of this extension/skin?

Yes

Have you checked that this extension or skin isn't already bundled in Canasta?

Yes (it's not compatible with the current LTS, only the next one 1.43)

(Extensions only) Have you checked there are no similar extensions to it already bundled in Canasta?

Yes
