Similar to native chat behaviour, with this option on, the emotes and text would be vertically centered like this:
The badges are also not centered (not very apparent unless you increase/decrease font size a lot) and i believe it would be a good choice to also center those with this setting and maybe call it "Center content vertically within a chat line" ?
