There's not really any events that you could practically read from Chatterino to figure out if you've been pinged or not, you might be better off using a bog-standard IRC client like irssi (can run in a terminal) or hexchat. They have plugins that would allow you to add highlights & inform you somehow I can point you to the right page on the Twitch developer page if you need help connecting to chat over IRC |

Chatterino is first and foremost a GUI program. It would be very hard
for us to change this. I don't think this change is worth it especially
if only a tiny portion of its functionality would work in such an
environment.
There are dedicated Twitch chat logging programs like rustlog or justlog
if you need them.

I fully understand your points. I will look for another program to get pings saved or maybe as discord bot and to save the logs. |

Would it be possible to add a headless mode for linux (especially raspberry pi), that you can run it on your home server to see whenever you are pinged without having your pc on all the time? And to save the logs from chats?
