I'm trying your wrapper as a solution for the not-working viewer but also without success.

but when I execute FAHViewer, there is still no connection:

FAHViewer --connect=192.168.0.66:36331 --slot=1

please see the image below.

FAH Control is running on the default port, your wrapper seems to be connected correctly:
AsPowerBar_2020-03-15_11-50-37

I tried to disable the firewall completely, I don't have any special antivirus or proxy, etc. Is there anything I can do to check why is the connection doesn't work?

Thanks

I have right now no Folding system up and running; in the process of setting one up (CPU only) but don’t get any work.
Can you please try to connect to the client itself via telnet on port 36330. Then try the command to display the trajectory. See in the .py file in header for example. Please let me know if the current GPU is actually delivery a trajectory at all.

Thanks for the reply. I'm completely new to Folding so I have no idea how to test it ;-).
I have a valid telnet connection to the client, but I didn't find any clue in .py file how to check it. Can you please send me any more details?

Just wanted to add to this, I am having the same issue @ludekvodicka is having as well. FAHViewer shows as Connection: Trying and the Wrapper is spamming new connections.

@ludekvodicka I think the problem here is the version of the FAHViewer. The last one 7.5.* seems broken and can't connect, as I read here : https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=31111

You need to download the 7.4.4 version to have a working one. The only functioning one I found is this release for Windows XP..
I tried to test every release in the folders but I maybe have missed somes.
https://download.foldingathome.org/releases/public/release/fahviewer/windows-xp-32bit/v7.4/

@ChristianVirtual
Now I'm stuck here. The viewer can connect to the wrapper, the wrapper seems to work but sending empty data to the viewer.

PS C:\Users\Nico\Downloads> python.exe .\FAH_WrapperGPUTrajectory.py

I've tried the "trajectory 01" test in telnet and it returned me a stream of this kind of data :

All the test are made when my GPU was working

Using Windows 10 with PowerShell, tried in administrator too.

Ok; have a system up and running with both GPU and CPU slot (Core22 and A7). I actually can see both slots in the standard setup with only the Viewer from Stanford direct connected to the folding client. I think the wrapper is actually not needed anymore.

The issue above with the "?" in the atom list is some "wired" setup the scientists have done (and looks like lots water). Sometimes they play with the atoms to tweak their models.

Can you please confirm if your current version 7.5.1 without wrapper can show the atoms ? Is there still older cores like A3 and A4 around ?
