Applications are a Google Form + Codility. Submissions to go this spreadsheet where I've added four columns - "Codility test sent" (we should tick this when we send a test), "Codility report" (we should put a link here when they finish the test), "Outcome", and "Notes". Because we won't have the Dashboard this time around, we'll track people in this cohort tracking spreadsheet I just created.

For process I'd suggest (with who I suggest doing them, but open to discussion):

  1. Advertise that applications are open. Tell people that applications will close at the end of January 26th. Warn people that there's a technical test they need to do (which will take up to an hour), and that they will need some time for that. They must have completed the test before 10am on January 27th, and the last time we'll mail out tests is midnight at the end of the 26th. I'm happy to sign up to do the last midnight mailing.
  2. Trainees will add themselves by doing the form
  3. Everyone relevant ?(Amy + Daniel + Karen) will check the sheet, and send out the "Piscine Application Codility Test with practice exercise" Codility test and tick the box in the person's row.
  4. When the Codility tests come in, ?Daniel will add links to the reports to the sheet.
  5. On January 27th, Daniel will hand Karen a list of people who are accepted/rejected. Karen will communicate these out. Daniel will also hand Amy and Mariana a list of people who are accepted so we can all finalise region plans (venues, volunteers, ...).
  6. Daniel will transfer those accepted into the cohort tracking spreadsheet.
