sea....
The user is asking to be able to hide the mouse pointer, since with magnification, the pointer may become bigger and hidde the zone of interest.
Personally, I also note that some low vision people may want to work with a bigger pointer to be able to follow it more easily. The downside is that a bigger mouse pointer, being bigger, also masks more things in the zone of interest.
Technically, this should be doable quite easily with the Magnification API.
I am a bit concerned however with the capability to hide permanently the mouse pointer. should a sighted person use the same computer without any knowledge of NVDA or this add-on, this person would be put in difficulty?
I rather imagine a mode where the mouse pointer would automatically hide after a time of inactivity (e.g. 0.5, 1, 2, 3 seconds) and would show up whenever it is moved.
For anyone reading this issue, please comment this idea.
Thanks.

Additional suggestion received from Alexis Salazar by e-mail on12th June, 2021:
Have a script to hide the mouse cursor and make the mouse cursor reappear as soon as the mouse is moved again.
