I am performing a Mantel test using iCAMP analysis results and environmental data. While I was able to calculate the correlation coefficient without any issues, I encountered a problem during the significance assessment using permutation tests.
Upon step-by-step verification, I found that only one or two permutations were generated, which seems insufficient to create a proper random matrix for comparison. I attempted to identify the cause of this issue on my own, but I couldn't find a solution, so I am reaching out for assistance.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? What could be causing the permutation generation to be so limited, and how can I resolve this?
If you need any additional data or details, please let me know, and I will send them via email.
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
