It is not possible to add Windows Store / GamePass games or executables, with the current interface, as it requires an .exe file. All games have hidden .exe files, but with the latest version of Windows those .exe files no longer trigger profiles.
A good recent example is the GamePass version of Final Fantasy XV, that although it has UWP names as part of its profile, it doesn't have the actual one used by Game Pass, and it's impossible to add it because it's not an .exe, but a profile name.
This is the actual app name that works if added via the NVIDIA CP (but of course won't apply the NVIDIA optimizations for FFXV):
39EA002F.FINALFANTASYXVforPC_n746a19ndrrjg
These are the names in the current profile:
39ea002f.finalfantasyxvwindowseditionplayabledemo, ffxv_s.exe, ffxv.exe, 39ea002f.finalfantasyxvforpc_1.1.54.2_x64__n746a19ndrrjg, 39ea002f.finalfantasyxvwindowseditionplayabledemo_1.1.54.2_x64__n746a19ndrrjg, ffxv_u.exe, 39ea002f.finalfantasyxvforpc, ffxv_ws.exe, ffxv_o.exe
As you can see, the actual name is not included. The game's real executable is ffxv_u.exe, but since it's locked, adding it changes nothing once the game launches. Neither does the NVIDIA control panel do anything to the game if the game is selected from the big NVIDIA list.
Is there any way to add a non-exe via the Inspector to a profile? Since profiles already contain UWP apps, I would think that it might be possible.
Thanks!

I have found that if I export the .nip file, edit it to add the simple name of the executable in a new and then import it again, it works.
Maybe the best interface for setting up new executables would be to just ask for their name, instead of opening a file-select window?
Just an idea.
