Currently when you shred a file, or a group of files, the filename itself can still be seen using popular data recovery applications. Adding filename obfuscation upon shred/deletion would be a nice addition.

@NCC-Gnisha It already tries to do so but it doesn't seem to work properly. I am not sure why and unfortunately I don't have time to work on permadelete these days. I'd happily accept a PR if you found a fix though.
Also please leave the name of the data recovery app you used that showed the file names, so that in the future we can make sure that any fix that's made works properly.
