Unclear. If you are reading the current model and radio settings, making changes on the computer, and then writing them back, all the changes you make should be written back.
No. On the handset, you can save your model as a template , and use that template to create new models in the future. You can also have more than one template saved if you want different configs. With Companion, you would simply copy an existing model.
Most likely, as it sounds like you are facing the teething issues with learning a new system. |

I have a brand new Radio Master tx16s with Edge Centurion 2.10.6 on it, on my PC - i have Edge Companion 2.10.6 under Windows 11.
The following settings are set using mixer and have to be done separately in each model:-
I have allocated Channel 1 on the Transmitter to Ali using the joystick
I have allocated Channel 2 on the Transmitter to Ele using the joystick
I have allocated Channel 3 on the Transmitter to Thr using the joystick
I have allocated Channel 4 on the Transmitter to Rud using the joystick
I have allocated Channel 5 on the Transmitter to Switch SC using the switch
I have allocated Channel 6 on the Transmitter to Switch SD using the switch
When copying off the models using Edge Companion they copy off successfully but after making amendments to the models such changing the image on the display and copying them back to the transmitter all these settings then revert to being blank.
Question 1 - why is this happening and can it be stopped so all the setting are copied back
Question 2. - All these setting at the moment are being made on a per model basis, is there anywhere that these setting can be made so that they apply automatically to new models created.
An addition question - if i became so frustrated with these problems and I purchased another make of transmitter running Edge TX - would these problem exist on a different type of hardware platform.
