How to change wifi network

Hi,
I've installed an EPL and I found it gets poor Wifi signal. So I installed a new access point and now I would like to switch the EPL to the new wifi network, without loosing the zones I defined.
Can I do that or I need to save the zones, flash the firmware again (from web browser) and select the new wifi?

Another issue I have is that when I flash a new firmware version on my Everything Presence Lite from this webpage: https://everythingsmarthome.github.io/everything-presence-lite/updating.html, I can connect only to a Wifi network that is reachable from the location where EPL is being flashed.
I can indeed choose from the combobox menu a "Join other..." option and put there the SSID and password. But then it's not clear whether these credentials are saved on the EPL device or not. I think they're not as I cannot complete the wifi connection procedure...
