When uploading large binary files to datastreams (e.g. MASTER), it would be nice to have a progress bar visible instead of simply having to wait for completion.

@MostlyGenius, if you want to work on this, I'd be happy to do so... but first, I should offer the disclaimer that this project is in its infancy and takes a lot of work to get up and running. If you're not planning on actually using this yourself, I don't want to make you potentially waste your time on a complicated setup. If you're still interested, let me know and I'm happy to provide a little more background. If not, no harm done. ;-)
