As some devices still work with IR remotes an additional IR blaster would be great.

Noted. I think we could consider adding an IR blaster module to the roadmap. Alternatively, if someone moves faster than us, they could leverage the HAT’s expansion ports to connect an IR blaster to the CORE’s ESP32.
