We are using a pretty old list of ALNs for validating programs and need to establish a process for doing so on a regular basis. We've also learned that we should be using "inactive" ALNs as well.

OMB has asked that we include inactive ALNs in our validations. As far as I can tell, the normal SAM ALN exports only include active ALNs; inactive can be found via the search UI, but that obviously isn't a great path for us. I reached out to our OMB/SAM contacts to see if there's another option.
You can download ALN data from the search interface! You just have to be logged in to see the correct button. There's a limit of 5,000 records for CSV downloads, so we probably need to do active/inactive as separate batches. This appears to be the only option for accessing inactive ALNs at the moment.

Note: Please tell @James-Paul-Mason once the list has been updated to include inactive ALNs, we'll need to update our FAQ and workbook instructions.
