The purpose of this ticket is to do a comb-over for all of our CI/CD related components which include Terraform and Github Workflows & Actions. The contents of the document (to be created) is not necessarily to have a 1-1 relation on how to run everything, rather, it is to serve as a reference document for detailing the relations of components and how they interact with each other. An example of this could be how we handle a process flow for a developer. What exactly is going on behind the scenes when a developer starts working on a feature/implementation, when they open the pull request to deploying that feature to production. There will be certain items in this document that serve to be informational as well as reference the differences between ecosystems, such as the difference between the local container, sandbox, and a live environment.
