Your Proposal

I know there were a lot of fixes for the food stuff, like adding recipes in the brewery for the GregTech foods in the last version and in this one removing the sap and latex stuff, anyway there are still a few edibles buuged or hidded in NEI:

Unobtainables foods with food values shown in NEI:

Sand Pear ($5349/23) from Extra Trees (It doesnt have a tree)
Papayimar ($5349/40) from Extra Trees (It doesnt have a tree)
Turnip ($4994/11) from BOP (It is supposed to be dropped by koru, but the only thing you can get from koru is a turnip seeed from Pam's with a low chance when breaking it with a hoe)
Ambrosia ($4994/10) from BOP (Celestial Crystal Shard and Kelp do not spawn naturally)
Taintberry ($10224) from Thaumic Exploration (It was never implemented)
Unidentifiable Meat ($10474) from ThaumicHorizons (It was never implemented)
Unidentifiable Cooked Meat ($10475) from ThaumicHorizons (It was never implemented)
Unidentifiable Meat Nugget ($10476) from ThaumicHorizons (It was never implemented)

Unobtainable one with food value hidden from NEI:

Old Man Snitches glitched Diablo Sauce ($7192/32124) from GregTech (Maybe someone forgot to change the icon and give the liquid a recipe, maybe it is intended? Idk but it is the only GregTech food that is still bugged

Weird ones:

Terra Wart ($4282) from IC2 (It makes sense that it doesn't count as eated so you can eat it as mucha as you want but there could be a posible fix so it doesn´t keep showing as Not yet eaten)
Quantum Bread ($10860) from GT: New Horizons (This item can be obtained from Haute cuisine loot bags or crafted from "Breads" in a UV slicing machine. Before eating it, it is hidden in NEI and counted as not eaten. After eating it, it is counted as eaten, but when you relog, it is no longer hidden in NEI and will show as not eaten there, but will show as eaten in the food journal)

Your Goal

Idk at this point just remove the edible value from the unobtainables ones, add them to a renewable lootbag or add them to a coin tab so you can buy them

Probably the Old Man Snitches glitched Diablo Sauce should recive a proper recipe and a new icon as the other GT foods

Your Vision

The pack is so close to give you the chance of eating everything that is showed as edible, just with a few more changes it will finally be possible and this could motivate some people to also complete the "Eat everything" challenge

Since we are in feature freeze and near the next update release, I dont think this will make to the new version, but here are some recipes I come up with some of the issues, if aprobal they could go into coremod:

Sand pear: pear, sugar, red sand
Papayimar: lapis, sugar, chipped emmerald

Taintberry; or a normal craft or a thaumcraft one that uses vis: Blightberry, tainted goo, taint tendrill

Celestial crystal shard: autoclave recipe, Ender goo, ender powder, ender diamond

Kelp: Idk what machine to do this, seaweed, salt, and weedkiller

Unidentifiable meat; 16 mince meat
Unidentifiable meat nugget, is a nugget, so uses the meat

The turnit has to be a change of drops, the diablo sauce idk whats the problem, the terra wart issue was discused in other issues, and the Quantum brad, well its behaviour is funny because is quantum

I am not at home atm but ill check the ingredients later today, I dont recall if there was any other ingredient unobtainable for ambrosia.

And some feedback:

Imo, koru is somewhat hard to find, so a high drop chance would be nice, or maybe the easy way is just a pam's turnip in a machine. (Maybe is just me cuz I broke all the koru ib my world probably in a 20K block radius)

And the diablo sauce, iirc its not the same item as the one I posted, u need to check the recipes for glass bottle (Maybe the recipe is removed now and I just have it in Nei cuz I saved it pre updating?) Ill check later to correct myself if any of this doesnt make any sense.

It still exist, and the recipe is still up but there is no recipe for the liquid:

And its the only GT food that doesnt have a new icon:
