Problem description

This problem is the same described here.

The IP from the node details isn't correct. On this case is returned IP 169.254.190.97.

Duckduckgo around it seems that this type of IP is returned when there's no connection at all, but that isn't the case.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Install Graylog Sidecar 1.0.2 on Windows 2012 R2 Standard
  2. Go to Graylog Server > System > Sidecars > (click on the name of the machine)

Sidecar Windows node details

The IP isn't the real IP.

Environment

  • Sidecar Version: 1.0.2
  • Graylog Version: 3.2.4 (docker image graylog/graylog:3.2)
  • Client Operating System: Windows 2012 R2 Standard
  • Elasticsearch Version: 6.8.5 (docker image docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-oss:6.8.5)
  • MongoDB Version: 3 (docker image mongo:3)
