Pen pressure not working #269
Comments
How are you running Clip Studio in Linux? Wine? Does the pen pressure work in other apps (e.g, Krita, GIMP, or Blender)? |
Hello, using clip with wine yep. But wacom tablet works with pressure just fine. |
Interesting. What Linux distro are you running, and what is the browser you are using to access Weylus? What is the device you are using to access Weylus? |
Confirming that I have the exact same problem. Pressure sensitivity doesn't seem to pass through. Desktop : Dell G7 running Debian 12 on X11 (due to Nvidia) Is there any help / logs I can provide? |
You can try the latest build from master (https://github.com/H-M-H/Weylus/actions/runs/11074571109) and provide the log of |
I don't exactly know how pertinent this is, but I had been attempting to get pressure sensitivity working and walked through the process, and found out that for some reason Firefox wasn't passing stylus events to Weylus. Only touch events were working, and I believe that was the reason why pressure sensitivity wasn't working for me. I tried out using Chrome and Thorium and both browsers worked, so I'm going under the assumption that Firefox is simply mishandling the stylus input (at least for my android tablet). |
hello,
I just started using weylus (linux) and noticed that pen pressure seems to be broken. I followed the instructions in your readme, made sure uinput devices are created, but still no bueno when just having the stylus & uinput enabled within webbrowser (vivaldi).
i’d appreciate any help, and if you need me to send anything, please do.
(i’m trying to use pen pressure in clip studio if that matters)
