Apparently, if you rotate the screen, the touchscreen does not rotate along the image, so you will get a weird result, this gets even weirder when you have more than one monitor attached.
I am on KDE using Wayland.
On Windows that error does not occur.

Thanks for the report! Unfortunately, I am not aware of an API for input mapping on Wayland, as far as I know each and every desktop environment can implement their own version. In KDE under Wayland there are some options for input mapping in the system settings. Perhaps there is also an option to rotate the touch inputs.
