For SpeciesDistributionUnit.distributionInfo.DisctributionInfoType.populationType, the INSPIRE codelist is empty and a Natura 2000 codelist should be used according to the TG document part 5.3.2.3.10.
When trying to access this codelist with the link provided in 5.3.3.3. Rules for code list values to which the respective lettter should be appended, it cannot be resolved.
How should the populationType code be provided given the link provided in the TG does not resolve?

Dear @JohannaOtt,

thank you for your question.

As you mentioned, the reference links in the TG are no longer working.
It appears that the link of the "Reference Portal for Natura 2000" is: https://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/help/natura2000/

Furthermore, the rules for generating codelist value identifiers appear to be outdated.

Looking at the relevant section in the "Reference Portal for Natura 2000", it seems that all the codelists are now available in the "biodiversity" folder of the Eionet Vocabularies, except for the "TYPE" codelist.

We will seek feedback from the codelist maintainer.

@fabiovinci Thanks a lot for the quick feedback and taking care. I will leave the data as is for now and adapt it once the way to provide it in the future is agreed on here.
