Missing '/bridge/config/devices/get' after migration to Z2M 2.0.0

I migrated my system (>90 devices) to Z2M 2.0.0 yesterday. Everything works fine so far with no major issues. (Great job btw!) The only thing I'm badly missing is the mqtt API function '/bridge/config/devices/get' that I used frequently in my node-red automation before. It got me a comprehensive list of all devices incl. details such as their name, link quality, battery etc. This function seems to be gone in 2.0.0. Is there any other way to get all devices incl. their details?

You can use zigbee2mqtt/bridge/devices, this is a retained topic so you will receive every time you connect to MQTT.

Thanks for your valued response! I read about zigbee2mqtt/bridge/devices in the documentation but I'm unclear how to trigger it. What do you mean by "every time you connect to MQTT"? Can I trigger it manually?
