Recent Changes to Chocobo Digging

I noticed digging results were off on the server I play on after updating a day or 2 ago. I was told that LSB made changes that higher end results are now gated behind Burrow & Bore. Problem being is that we do not have access to these.

Is there anywhere I can read up on these changes and plans going forward? This is going to screw up a lot of things for players on our server and I would like to be able to give people answers.

Thanks for trying to help but I have no clue what to do with that page. It doesn't even seem like half of the stuff listed here are even proper digging items. Food, furniture, potions, etc. I am not a programmer so this table is jibberish to me.

Unfortunately I don't think something like you're searching for exists. A lot of what goes on isn't directed towards the layperson, nor are things played out in such a way to see what's going to happen in the future of the project on a detailed scale.

This is my first time reaching out to LSB. I am unsure what kind of documentation is available.

Largely the plan is to be basically 1:1 retail (as best as can be done) so there will be additions that will change things in minor ways and sometimes huge ways. A private server may need to make changes themselves to remove certain features so it better fits the goal of their particular server. The private server you play on may be able to remove the check for burrow and bore themselves or come up with another solution to get around not having access to those things on the server. Now will they be willing/able to do so? Let's hope they are.

I do not know of any private server that has Chocobo Raising available to even get this skills. It is well and good to be retail accurate but if no one has the tools to use it why push it live?

Can this be done as a player thing or does it have to be applied to Chocobos?

The setting would be enabled for all players, just have to change it (and grant bore to 1)

If you need finer grain control you'd have to make a module
