Switch from emoticons to icons

Hello, I was thinking about taking care of this issue. My question to you is...

For the icons with no "official" icon, do you want to use the next closest thing or should I cook something up for those? (I.E. Minecraft Vanilla with Plugins has no official icon, Minecraft with Mods, etc.)

I already started a pull request, but it is really out of date and basically useless so I'd be glad if someone wants to put in some work :)

When talking about icons, I mainly think of the actual forks instead of categories. I think the emojies for the categories are fine or at least not as important.

If a software has no icon, then I created a small icon containing the name or an abbreviation. If you have a better idea let me know.

I think it would be best to just link the icons instead of rehosting them if possible.

Got it, I'll see what I can do. I'll use the original links for those from their respective websites. I think that's probably the best solution for software without an official icon.
