Spoiler alert about 40-50 hours in.

When the game displays still images captured from anime scenes they are stretched. I'm not sure if this happens early in the game, but in Altabury after a certain event there's a few displayed. See image below.

I also noticed a singular stretched image a bit earlier into the game. I dont have a screenshot but it was (spoiler for earlier game) when you gain the ability to teleport between towns using the gauntlet runner. There was an image of a gauntlet runner and it stretched the entire 32:9 screen. So far that has been the only occurrence in my 20 hour or so save.

Will try and address this when I get to that point of the game. It's possible the image is being stretched by the same code that fixes the squashed screen captures. If that image is processed in the same function and is 3840x2160, then it'll be stretched to fill the screen.

It happens a few times late game, but I don't think there's a save before any of them that doesn't require a boss fight and tons of dialogue. Absolutely not crucial to fix.
