Table, resize column width using last border not working

Insert a 2x2 table, decrease first column width using second column border in the table.
From the first cell, insert a column after (here horizontal scrollbar is displayed).
Scroll at the right end of the table. Adjust the cell size using the last column border.
Result: Adjust cell width using the last column border is not possible
