since the rudder rod is fairly loose in the shaft, it needs some 3d printed part around it, that goes in at the top of the shaft

What are the tolerances of the measurements? E.g. is the 4mm diameter the diameter of the current rod, and needs adding of a tolerance for allowing rotation?

The measurements in the draft are the actual one, no tolerances have been added. So you are right, this value will have to be slightly higher to be able to rotate properly.

This was made with the correct tolerances by my brothers, will arrive Friday (will close when it is here)
