I tried to import the files to EEGLab and could import as expected.

From your error code it seems it could not extract the right name. Please make sure

1. you select one of the 3 recorded files.
2. Your files should have _ExG, _Orn, _Meta, _Marker suffixes at the end.

I would suggest starting from the following file to get started. Our plugin is developed for EEGLab GUI usage but should work from scripts with minor modification:
