Not necessarily, besides not knowing when a new release is available.

A prompt in minim labs that alerts the user of a new release with a download link to the appropriate version.

Or an update command available through the CLI.

This seems like a great feature... Because we don't allow auto updating for the Labs builds, its important to know when new features are available.

I didn't think about implementing it with the portal, was just thinking about a prompt on the CLI. But I really like that idea because people will probably be checking the portal more often then the CLI output.
