At the time you cannot get past the Welcome Screen. It would be great If audiorecording would Work or to allow remote control the smartphone app.

Okay you got me flabbergasted :O how did you even install Alibi on your watch? The app is currently not optimized at all to run on watches. Although I think it'd be pretty cool to be able to record using your watch... Unfortunately, I do not have an Android based smartwatch myself, but I can try using the emulator.

Does your watch have a physical microphone built-in or is it using your smartphone's microphone?

After playing with the OS on the emulator for a little bit, it seems to me as if the design is a bit different than Android apps on smartphones. The background for example seems to be primarily dark. Can you confirm this is the case mostly?

You can install most other Android apps on smartwatches via ADB. I got a lot of apps that are also not optimized for Smartwatches installed and most of them are working but the UI is often not very usable. Installed apps on the Smartwatch can also install apps like on Android.

Yes, I have a Google Pixel Watch 2, witch has a builtin microphone. I think most of the smartwatches out there have builtin microphones.

The background for example seems to be primarily dark.

The UI of the most apps that are optimized/specifically designed for smartwatches is Dark.

WearOS does not have a file manager installed by default, so Alibi first has to save the recordings to the application storage and then transfer them to the smartphone.
