We have been waiting for PD 3.0 compatibility for over a year but Thermo has gone ahead and released version 3.1 of their software in September.

Do you plan to release a PD 3.1 compatible MsFragger release?.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Sergio

Hi Sergio,

Sorry for the late reply. Since I do not have PD v3.1 for testing, I am not sure if the MSFragger-PD node is workable for PDv3.1. The node is available for PD v2.5 and PD v3.0.

Thank you very much for your reply @huiyinc . I understand that your priority right now is Fragpipe but for users who use msfragger it would be interesting to be able to use the latest versions of msfragger in PD. Especially because right now I don't know if there is a 100% working version in PD. I mean, we also have another server with PD version 2.5 and the msfragger node but if you upgrade to the latest release, it doesn't work properly... as I reported in this other issue [link]. Do you still don't have a solution?.

Best regards,

Sergio
