Description of changes

This is originally part of #230843, but I decided to separate this since it has flaky build issues and I want to take a look at it.

• searchtool help: build issue with several translations mate-desktop/mate-utils#210

As the last resort we can either try to push this as-is and restart the build on hydra.nixos.org 🙈 or disable the pt translations, wow amazing 🙃

I made some noise on the upstream issue. I will do another six attempts a few hours later and hopefully I can undraft this then 🙃

Edit: Okay the patch should work fine here 🙃 I imagine itstool is very dead and won't resolve the issue any time soon.
