The toolboxes are a set of plugins that are bundled with Hardhat. Currently we intend to provide two toolboxes:

  • default
    • Node Test Runner
    • hardhat-viem
    • a new assertion library
    • hardhat-network-helpers
    • hardhat-verify
    • Ignition
  • mocha/ethers
    • Mocha Test Runner
    • hardhat-ethers
    • hardhat-chai-matchers
    • hardhat-network-helpers
    • hardhat-verify

This issue tracks the work needed to implement these toolboxes.
