Lost Records: when using the camcorder, the screen freezes, unplayable after

Using latest version of the mod. Game can still be played behind the screen freeze (you can hear the pause menu sounds, walking around, all audio keeps going, etc.). Mod works great otherwise. I'd call it a softlock as the game can still be played, but the screen is all black from the transition to camcorder view. It's unplayable once the screen freezes.
