Hello @c-h-david - sorry to tag you on a project you probably know nothing about.

We recently updated our code of conduct available here to include some elements that a colleague of ours heard you present in a meeting.

I have tried to acknowledge your contribution here.

Two question:

  • is it ok for us to use this formulation from you?
  • is the acknowledgment enough?

Thanks a lot!

@fmaussion, this message made my day! I think you might be the first group to actually include this in your repo. I'm glad you found this concept helpful. It's still very much a nascent idea that could benefit from more community input and brainstorming. The fact that you saw some value in this reassures me that perhaps we're onto something haha.
We have two existing GitHub issues on this topic as part of ongoing NASA efforts:
NASA-AMMOS/slim#173
nasa/Transform-to-Open-Science#894
I appreciate your effort to reference our work on this! Perhaps link to these issues to help spread the word? I don't know if my presentation on the topic was ever made publicly available. Also, w'd welcome your input on either of the above issues!
