As Moodle admin I want to have the option to disable the right-click-menu over the video player at my site.

Although we informed our trainers that this will not really prevent the user from downloading the video they are longing for this measure (=better than nothing and we do what we can...).

Ideally, this feature would be added to Paella Player 7. Then, adopters can simply configure the player instead of all relevant Moodle plugins. Opencast and other LMS could use this feature as well.

@bluetom This feature is already implemented on opencast:
https://github.com/opencast/opencast/blob/8e7c5a3811b13472e2025944f0dfb76fde2f96a4/modules/engage-paella-player-7/src/js/PaellaOpencast.js#L256

If you're using systemd and debian it looks like you simply need to edit the json file below and restart the service:

/etc/opencast/ui-config/mh_default_org/paella7/config.json

@hupratt Thank you for the hint! That means the solution is on the Opencast side and we can close this issue here, can't we?

I would say no as it is not implemented on moodle's side (the "moodle-mod_opencast" plugin)

Ah...I thought I had implemented it already but I just hacked our procuction site. OK, so let's leave this issue open, of course...
