Describe the Bug

The game has a heat haze effect on the engine nozzles that only looks correct in software rendering.
The way to fix it in hardware rendering is to change the texture filtering to bilinear (forced), but this breaks the HUD and UI.

Reproduction Steps

This is most noticeable if you start any mission, switch to third person view and use afterburners.
