Releases: QIDITECH/QIDISlicer
QIDISlicer 1.0.8
Notice: In this version, we have been heavily tested, adding 0.6 and 0.8 nozzles, and adding multi-device management (this feature has many shortcomings, we will improve in future versions).
New
- Add some buttons and then right-click the menu bar, including select all, delete all, auto display.
- X-Y compensation is optimized and divided into two parameters: X-Y hole compensation and X-Y contour compensation.
- Added the multiple device management list on the Device page.
Added 0.6 and 0.8 nozzle configurations.
Improvements
- We optimized the solid fill and added the parameter 'Detect narrow internal solid infill' to change a small portion of the solid fill pattern to concentric circles. This function can improve the print quality and shorten the print time (thanks to Bambul Studio).
Setting "Only retract when crossing perimeter" to off by default increases the print time slightly, but raises the model surface and reduces the Z-gap.
Bug Fix
- Fixed a bug of calibration, including some languages in German that could not use calibration.
- Fixed a bug where the file name could not be printed due to special characters in it.
QIDISlicer 1.0.7
Notice: This version added 0.2 nozzle configuration, so the configuration file structure has changed a lot, please update the configuration and re-add the printer and filament after the software update.
New
- After a long time of print testing and adjustment, we optimized the print parameters of 0.4mm nozzle and added the print parameters of 0.2mm nozzle. We will add 0.6mm nozzles and 0.8mm nozzles after full testing.
- Add the accessory parameter to control the permission to modify some parameters.
- Show more detailed parameters in print preview.
- Add Exclude Objects instructions to the guide.
- Optimized update prompt window, the next version update can see the detailed update content.
Improvements
- Optimize solid infill, the generation of solid infill is reduced, the consumption of filament is reduced, and the printing time is shortened.
- Reduce the small border size from 6.5mm to 4.0mm
- Optimize PA calibration.
- Optimize export button size.
- Updated some text translations.
- Optimize guide.
- Support for more GCode-style exclusion objects.
Bug Fix
- Fix bug of copying objects would result in abnormal output of excluded object information.
- Delete the first layer chamber temperature.
- Fixed bug when switching between multiple devices.
QIDISlicer 1.0.6
New
- Optimize 'Label objects', now compatible with Klipper and able to use Exclude Objects.
- Add Flowrate Calibration, including coarse calibration and fine calibration(thanks to OrcaSlicer).
- Add Pressure Advance Calibration, including PA Line, PA Pattern, PA Tower these three common methods (thanks to OrcaSlicer).
- Optimized User Guide, added Flowrate Calibration, Pressure Advance Calibration and MakerWorld (thanks to OrcaSlicer and Bambul Studio).
- Merge PrusaSlicer 2.6.1, including Arrange improvements, Cut tool improvements, and Emboss improvements (thanks to PrusaSlicer).
Improvements
- Add parameter 'First layer infill'.
- Add parameter 'First layer travel'.
- Add parameter 'Disable rapid cooling fan for the first', now you can control the rapid cooling fan better.
- Add filament ASA and Odorless ABS.
- Close 'Thick bridges', bridging supports will be easier to remove.
- The Z-seam is displayed by default in the preview.
- Optimize fan parameters according to different material characteristics.
Bug Fix
- Fix bug of Chamber Fan.
- Fix bug of default material, add material automatically choose PLA for the first time.
QIDISlicer 1.0.5
New
1.A unique leveling solution for Klipper-enabled 3D printers:Adaptive-Meshing
1).No wasted probe information, Adaptive Meshing will generate a mesh only in the area you actually need it: This means that leveling before each print takes significantly less time!
2).Since the mesh area will be smaller, the mesh can be much more dense. Imagine making a 3x3 mesh, but the size of a 3DBenchy! Which brings you a higher precision printing experience.
Thanks to @kyleisah et al for their contributions to 3D printing.
2.Added legend display on fill options
We have added a legend display for the fill option for users to preview in advance.
The setting is available in Print Settings->Infill
and Print Settings->Support material
3.Added notification for exporting status
Added a better readability experience to the process of exporting files so that the user understands that the file is being exported rather than freezing.
4.Added a hint for printer nozzle diameter
Using different nozzle sizes requires adjusting different pressure advances and line widths.
We are testing different sized nozzles and configurations for different sized nozzles will be added when testing is complete.
Improvements
- Optimize start code and other parameters.
- Improve auto-arrange spacing to avoid path conflicts when multiple models add extended support.
- Improved compatibility with macos.
