It appears the NullCIC fails to soft reset the NES if using an Everdrive N8, presumably due to the Everdrive drawing more power.
More testing will need to be done to confirm.

If this is the case then a potential fix could be increasing the value of the capacitor.

I do not have the Everdrive N8, but want to get one in the future, but i was thinking if the attiny13 CIC Clone by Krikzz wil work on the nes board and not only on the cartridge. because the NES board and the cartridge use the same chip.
Tanks for your projects i really appreciate this and the Opentendo.

The ATTINY CIC clone is only designed to recreate the "key" (cartridge) mode of the CIC, as well as be able to mimic the various regional versions of the CIC.
So it doesn't have any reset functionality unfortunately, and therefore isn't really usable for this usecase.

What exactly is the difference between "key mode" and "locking regions" ...with respect to the "reset functionality"?
