Multiple questions regarding implementation

Hello! I was trying to get some understanding of the way this bot works. As I already know It does not have a backend side, only a client-side. Additionally, I would like to ask the following questions:

1. Sqlalchemy is used here as a way to communicate with the database through python. It supports various SQL dialects., so which one is used here?(Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
2. Does it need backend implementation to work properly if lots of people were to use it?
3. If the backend were to be done, how would that look like? for example, python would still be used for that or perhaps something else is preferable? Backend would be done separately and all you have to do is simply connect everything with each other?
   I suppose these questions may seem a bit strange, but that is what I'm having some problems with in my current learning path:d
   Would greatly appreciate some short replies in order to not take too much time from anyone.

Any database not requiring fixed size strings can be used.
I tested the bot with SQLite and PostgreSQL, but other databases might work as well.

I have no idea, I never tested it with many people, I know for a fact that with more than 100 users, the "manually add funds" menu will stop working (see #35).

I'm not sure of what you mean here. What kind of backend do you want to implement?

3. I mean server side of the bot.
To be able it to run on lots of devices without having any issues don’t you have to host it somewhere with a server side(backend code)? So then there would be a client code and server code(backend)? I think its called moving it into production or something?:d

That's for web applications; greed is just a chat bot, which stands "between" the "frontend" (the Telegram app itself) and the "backend" (the Telegram bot API, and the Telegram servers themselves).
