error while executing make

I am trying to test the scheduler after implementing some other scheduling algorithms
whenever I try to execute make command in /usr/src/include/minix/
the following error appears : Makefile:1: *** missing separator. Stop.
i am using cygwin on windows 10
any solutions?

bump, same here - on Pop OS (Ubuntu). totally unclear what the issue is - doesn't seem to be spaces/tabs.

Hello, Please follow instruction on the wiki to build Minix: https://wiki.minix3.org/doku.php?id=developersguide:crosscompiling . You will also need patches from #322 .
